CT Technologist Position - Aurora, Illinois

Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (4x 10-hour shifts), with every other weekend 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-Call: Required overnight and weekends approximately 2-3 times per week
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Prior Experience: Preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam
• Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)
• Experience with Epic system

Health and Safety Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or completed declination
• Influenza vaccine or declination (required November 1 – March 31)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
• Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• TB test within one year of start date
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start for Illinois region)
• Physical/Health statement annually, stating clearance to work

Background and Compliance

• National criminal background check within one year of start date (some state-specific exceptions)
• Social Security card or passport for verification
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) or agency attestation
• Name verification affidavit if discrepancies exist between credentials (optional)
• Prime Agency Attestation and other onboarding attestations required prior to clearance

Skills and Testing

• Prime Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher (can be completed via Relias or similar platforms)
• Prime Skills Checklist required at submission

Additional Notes

• EPIC experience is a must
• Color-blind test required annually
• Badge photo (clear headshot) required for onboarding
• Onboarding education modules must be completed and attested prior to start
• Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport required for onboarding verification

This position is suitable for CT Technologists seeking a 13-week travel assignment with day shifts and on-call responsibilities in Illinois. Prior experience and EPIC system knowledge are important for success in this role.
