Radiographer Position - Ohio (Parma)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification required
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Health and Safety Requirements

• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Positive MMR titers within the last 15 years; if low titer, booster(s) required as specified.
  • Positive Varicella titers within the last 15 years; if low titer, booster(s) required as specified.
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series with signed declination, or positive titer within 15 years.
  • Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years (no declinations accepted).
• Tuberculosis Testing:

  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA (QuantiFERON/TSPOT) with negative results within the last 6 months; annual requirement.
  • If positive PPD, clear chest X-ray (valid for 5 years) and current TB questionnaire required.
• Fit Test: Completed within 1 year of start and updated annually; specific approved respirator models required.
• Physical Exam: Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start stating ability to work without restrictions.
• Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start; instant drug screens not accepted. New screen required if break in assignment exceeds 60 days.
• Influenza Vaccine: Proof required during flu season (October–March) or completion of specific masking and declination forms.

Professional and Background Requirements

• Employment Verification: Verification of employment within the last 5 years through third-party; attestations not accepted.
• Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through third-party; international equivalency documents required if applicable.
• Criminal Background Check: Within 6 months of start, including social security trace, county searches (7 years), national criminal sweep, and sex offender registry.
• Fingerprinting: Ohio residents 5+ years require state fingerprint check and national database check; less than 5 years require state and FBI fingerprint checks. Attestation allowed if fingerprints pending.
• OIG and Federal Exclusion Checks: Completed within 6 months prior to start; attestations not accepted.
• I-9 Verification: Completed and on file prior to start, confirming eligibility to work.
• Photo ID: Non-expired government-issued photo ID required.
• Badge Photo: Headshot with plain background required prior to start.
• Safety and Compliance Training: Completion of required safety modules prior to clearance; renewal annually.
