Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Details
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Weekend call required: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Minimum specialty experience: 2 years (unit does not accept first-time travelers)
- Prior travel experience: Required (implied by "unit does not accept first time travelers")
- Return to office (RTO) max: 7 days
- Holiday work expectations:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler must work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, traveler must work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, traveler must work 2 of them
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
- Locals accepted at same rate
- Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Cath Lab Technologist
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies prior to start
- Clinical screening by facility required to determine clinical fit before final manager approval
- Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
- References: 2 clinical references required by agency (not client)
- Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
- Verification of most recent work history required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process (due within 30 days post start)

- Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length
- Candidate cannot start with pending background or drug screen results
- Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers are not accepted for this unit
