Description

Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40


Job Details

  • Contract length: 12 weeks
  • Weekend call required: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
  • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Minimum specialty experience: 2 years (unit does not accept first-time travelers)
  • Prior travel experience: Required (implied by "unit does not accept first time travelers")
  • Return to office (RTO) max: 7 days
  • Holiday work expectations:
    • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler must work it
    • If 2 major holidays fall, traveler must work both
    • If 3 major holidays fall, traveler must work 2 of them
  • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
  • Locals accepted at same rate
  • Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Cath Lab Technologist

Additional Requirements

  • Candidate must review and sign facility-specific Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies prior to start
  • Clinical screening by facility required to determine clinical fit before final manager approval
  • Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
  • References: 2 clinical references required by agency (not client)
  • Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
  • Verification of most recent work history required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process (due within 30 days post start)

  • Floating assignments may be required within the facility and scope of practice
  • Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length
  • Candidate cannot start with pending background or drug screen results
  • Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers are not accepted for this unit
