Location: Durham, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Evening shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging with caseloads including Cardiac, Oncology, Trauma, Pain Management, and Interventional procedures.
• Work within a complex academic healthcare system featuring a Level One Trauma program.
• Facility includes inpatient and outpatient imaging, CT intervention, portable neuro CT imaging, portable OR imaging, dedicated CT scanners in the Emergency Department, and pediatric/neonatal imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience with GE Healthcare imaging systems.
• Experience with PACS imaging systems.
• Experience with Siemens imaging systems.

Additional Information

• Orientation is biweekly.
• Candidates must be able to pass a color blind test if applicable (not required for CT Tech).
• Candidates with less than a 30-day gap between previous assignments at this facility may have some document requirements waived or accepted on file.
• Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances before starting.
• The position is within a large hospital system with approximately 1,000 beds and 200 dedicated pediatric beds.

Summary

This CT Tech travel contract position requires strong CT imaging skills with ARRT-CT certification and experience on GE, PACS, and Siemens platforms. The role involves working evening shifts in a high-acuity academic hospital with diverse imaging needs including cardiac and trauma cases. Candidates must meet extensive credentialing, immunization, and compliance requirements prior to starting.
