Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting; candidates with ICU or Oncology experience will also be considered.
Skills required include Telemetry monitoring, IV management, PICC line care, use of EPIC electronic health records, and performing lumbar punctures.
Ability to perform conscious sedation is required.

Shift

Night shift (NOC)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Oncology experience with at least 1.5 years, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with PICC line care
Experience performing lumbar punctures
Ability to perform conscious sedation
Emergency Department (ED) experience
