Description

Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Weston, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (8/10-hour shifts)
On-call Requirement: 1 shift per week plus 2 weekend 12-hour shifts per month
Floating: May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
Block scheduling: Not accommodated
Locals accepted at same rate
Pending license accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida (pending license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in Orthopedic Surgery
Experience in Neurology
