CT Technologist
Location: Frisco, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
- Work in Radiology department covering CT, X-ray, and MRI modalities.
- Assist primarily with MRI duties, including MRI call, as well as CT and X-ray tech responsibilities.
- Perform imaging studies including PAN, HEAD, ABDOMEN.
- Average of about 20 scans/studies per day.
- Must be able to start IVs.
- Weekend and holiday work required.
- Call required for MRI with a 30-minute response time.
- Scrubs color: black (scrubs provided).
- Orientation specific to department with 12-hour day shifts and call.
Equipment & Systems
- Use of GE and Siemens scanners (CT and MRI), Carestream X-ray equipment.
- PACS systems include EPIC and SYNAPSE.
- Department has 2 scanners/rooms.
- Radiologist available in-house 2 days per week.
- Registered Radiology Assistants used occasionally.
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R).
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT).
- Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MRI).
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
- CT Technologist experience within the last year required.
- Must be able to float and cover MRI, CT, and X-ray areas as needed.
Additional Information
- Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote).
- Travel radiology badge must be provided by the agency.
- Valid driver’s license must be submitted.
- Radius for travel: 60 miles.
Scheduling Details
- MRI shifts: 12-hour days (7 AM - 7 PM) with some call.
- CT shifts: days or nights.
- X-ray shifts: days.
- Self-scheduling or block scheduling details not specified.
