CT Technologist

Location: Frisco, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Summary

• Work in Radiology department covering CT, X-ray, and MRI modalities.
• Assist primarily with MRI duties, including MRI call, as well as CT and X-ray tech responsibilities.
• Perform imaging studies including PAN, HEAD, ABDOMEN.
• Average of about 20 scans/studies per day.
• Must be able to start IVs.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Call required for MRI with a 30-minute response time.
• Scrubs color: black (scrubs provided).
• Orientation specific to department with 12-hour day shifts and call.

Equipment & Systems

• Use of GE and Siemens scanners (CT and MRI), Carestream X-ray equipment.
• PACS systems include EPIC and SYNAPSE.
• Department has 2 scanners/rooms.
• Radiologist available in-house 2 days per week.
• Registered Radiology Assistants used occasionally.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R).
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT).
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MRI).

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year required.
• Must be able to float and cover MRI, CT, and X-ray areas as needed.

Additional Information

• Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote).
• Travel radiology badge must be provided by the agency.
• Valid driver’s license must be submitted.
• Radius for travel: 60 miles.

Scheduling Details

• MRI shifts: 12-hour days (7 AM - 7 PM) with some call.
• CT shifts: days or nights.
• X-ray shifts: days.
