Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry) - Mason City, Iowa
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule: Every third weekend and every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Onboarding Requirements
- License and certification verifications dated within 30 days of start
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
- Background checks including:
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal checks from the last 7 years
- Social Security Number verification
- State-specific criminal and abuse registry checks (Iowa-specific dependent adult and child abuse registries)
- Exclusion lists (OIG, EPLS, OFAC) within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- Signed professional forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Non-Employee Upload Form
- System Access Form (to be completed one week before start)
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
