Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, 6 hours each (mid shift), Tuesday through Friday, every other week
- Week 1: Sunday (12 hours), Tuesday-Friday (4x6 hours), weekend off
- Week 2: Tuesday-Friday (4x6 hours), Saturday (12 hours)
- Occasional overnight, weekend night shifts, and weekday evening shifts may be required
- Must be able to perform X-Rays in addition to CT duties
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience
- ARRT certification in CT
Licensure
- Must hold a valid professional license appropriate for CT Technologists (ARRT certification required)
Required Documents & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- Social Security Card
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- Background check within 30 days of start (7-year criminal check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
- Copy of Radiography Certification (ARRT)
- Proof of OSHA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission annual training or signed attestation
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required to be updated annually)
- N95 Fit Mask test within 12 months of start (3M N95, specific sizes required)
- Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot within 3 months of start; PPD not accepted)
- Immunization or positive titer documentation for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella
- Hepatitis B: proof of positive titer or declination
- Drug test: 10-panel including Nicotine/Cotinine within 60 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination required for current season (no exemptions)
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Completed employment application/resume
- Updated skills checklist (annually)
Additional Information
- Shift hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
- Facility requires signed confidentiality and security agreement prior to start
- Facility-specific orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with pediatric experience who are comfortable with a variable schedule including some weekends and occasional overnight shifts. Compliance with extensive health, background, and certification requirements is mandatory.
