RN Labor and Delivery - Des Moines, Iowa
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule: Every other to every third weekend as needed; every other holiday; no on-call
- Experience: Circulating experience preferred
- Certification Requirement: AWHONN certification required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Professional and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) with SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest academic degree or equivalent)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- Code of Conduct Form
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
- Non-Employee Upload Form (completed and uploaded)
- System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
- Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
- Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries check (within 30 days prior to start)
- OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions screening within 30 days of start
Additional Notes
- All certifications and licenses must be scanned and uploaded with front and back images where applicable
- Specialty skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors
- No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
