CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Night shift, currently Sunday to Wednesday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (4x10 hour shifts)
- Hours per week: 40
- Weekend work: As needed
- Schedule flexibility: No block schedule accommodation
- Local candidates: Not accepted (must be outside a 50-mile radius)
- Pending license: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: All RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; late submissions will not be approved
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification required
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Two forms of government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, passport)
- Background check within 60 days of start, including statewide, county, federal searches, and education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
- Education verification required (diploma/transcript not accepted as substitute)
- Sex offender search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (TN only)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
- Fit test for 3M N-95 masks within 1 year of start (must pass without limitations)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (no pending or instant tests accepted)
- Immunizations: Proof of measles, mumps, rubella, varicella vaccinations or positive antibody titers with boosters if titers are low or equivocal
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30)
- Photo for badge: Must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
- Two recent professional references required
Facility & Dress Code Notes
- Scrubs: Ceil blue top and pants with optional white lab coat or matching scrub jacket for CT Techs
- No prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Business casual dress code with lab coat for RN Case Managers (not applicable for CT Tech)
Additional Notes
- Candidates must sign a job description form within one year of start date
- Onsite fit test and questionnaires may be required prior to start
- All required documents must be submitted timely to avoid delays in start date
- Extensions require updated background checks and evaluations as applicable
This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with prior travel contract experience who meet strict credentialing and compliance requirements and are available for a night shift travel assignment in Tennessee.
