CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Travel Contract
Location: Enumclaw, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract in a hospital setting. The role involves working independently during graveyard shifts and covering both CT and general X-Ray duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Active Washington State CT Technologist license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ARRT certification in CT
- Ability to start IVs when necessary (no RN available in the department)
- Must provide a radiation badge (can be provided if absolutely needed)
Work Schedule
- 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week (40 hours total)
- Shift pattern: Thursday to Sunday
- Thursday/Friday: CT from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday/Sunday: X-Ray from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- No call or standby required
- Holidays worked if they fall on scheduled shifts
Department & Equipment
- Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
- Equipment: Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream X-Ray room, GE Portable X-Ray
- Imaging performed:
- CT: Head, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis with/without contrast, CTA PE, Runoff, Extremities
- X-Ray: Chest, PICC line placement, Tube placement, Trauma - extremities
- Average scans per graveyard shift: 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays
- EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and McKesson PACS
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on site
- Radiologist coverage: In-house Mon, Wed, Fri 8 AM - 5 PM; otherwise teleradiology
Additional Information
- Must be able to work independently as the only CT/X-Ray tech on graveyard shift (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Department-specific orientation includes EPIC training in Tacoma and one week of on-site training
- Scrubs: Wear your own scrubs; no specific color required
