CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Texas, Bryan

Job Details

• Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography)
• Location: Bryan, Texas (float between Bryan and College Station campuses, 16 minutes apart)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Department: Radiology (CT)
• Average Scans per Day: 16 - 24
• Types of Studies: CT scans with and without contrast
• Equipment: 3 GE scanners (one 16-slice, two 64-slice)
• EMR & PACS Systems: Meditech / Fuji
• Call: Required, every 6th week, 30-minute response time, backup only (always someone in-house)
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Occasional rotation with permanent staff
• Scrubs: Black (not provided)
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided

Required Qualifications

• BLS Certification
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Texas MRT license
• Experience with ER and inpatient CT scanning
• Ability to start IVs

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any related facilities within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable.
• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination.
• May be asked to precept as needed.
• Radiologist coverage is in-house during the day and virtual at night (ER doctor available for emergencies).
