CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Pueblo, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Weekend and holiday work required
- No call or standby responsibilities
- No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
- Scrub color: Black (scrubs not provided)
- Orientation provided in-house (specific days and times scheduled)
- Must be in-state for orientation week (some modules may be remote)
- Agency must provide traveler radiation badge (facility does not provide)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT imaging including Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA Head, CTA Chest, Calcium Score, etc.
- Average 30-40 scans/studies per day
- Start IVs as required
- Use Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant for imaging and documentation
- Operate GE imaging equipment
- No floating or coverage of other areas required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- Valid driver’s license required (must submit)
Additional Information
- Department has 2 CT scanners/rooms
- Radiologist available in-house
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
- Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
- Work radius up to 60 miles from job site
