Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN (Nights)

Job Description

• Provide care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings.
• High proficiency required in Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care.
• Supportive environment encouraging family involvement during maternity and delivery care.
• Facility provides scrubs.
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable).
• Call pay applies for call-back, holiday, and overtime hours.
• Must have own vehicle for work-related needs.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at application; no more than 5 days allowed. Late requests may result in offer rescindment.

Contract Length

• Approximately 14 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Experience in OB/GYN nursing including delivery, circulating, and C-sections.
• Current certifications:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
