Description

Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Grants, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed

Job Description

  • Provide care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings
  • Manage obstetrics patients and stable infants
  • Stabilize sick infants as needed

Required Certifications and Skills

  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Preferred but not required: STABLE certification, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
