Description

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Washington, Burien

Job Details

  • Specialty: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
  • Location: Burien, Washington
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Friday through Sunday
  • Hours: 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
  • Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Yes
  • Call/Standby Requirement: Yes, with a 30-minute response time

Department & Equipment

  • Department: Radiology - CT
  • Number of scanners: 2 (GE and Toshiba)
  • Must be able to operate both GE and Toshiba scanners (float/cover if GE machine is down)
  • Common imaging studies: CTA, Body, Neuro
  • Average scans per day: Approximately 30 in a 12-hour shift
  • EMR/PACS systems used: McKesson and Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience (higher years not specified)
  • BLS Certification
  • Washington State Department of Health Radiology License
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
  • Must provide own radiation badge
  • Knowledge of ER-type scans required
  • Ability to start and troubleshoot IVs (mainly for ED patients)

Orientation & Dress Code

  • Department-specific orientation provided
  • Scrubs provided; solid colors required

Additional Information

  • Radiologist available in-house during the day, not evenings or weekends
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) in department
  • Clinical profile review required; manager will conduct interview
