Description

Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Days vary and include Saturdays
  • Approximately 38 hours per week

Job Description

  • Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans for various diagnoses
  • Focus on improving patient strength, range of motion (ROM), balance, safety, and function
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
  • Work in an outpatient clinic setting

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Colorado
  • Minimum 2 years of Rehabilitation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Physical Therapist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
  • CAPS registration required for Colorado (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
  • Newly remodeled furnished studio and small one-bedroom apartments may be available nearby (subject to availability)
  • Onboarding requires accurate Social Security number and date of birth to avoid delays
