RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

  • Centennial, Colorado

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of MS-Tele experience
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
  • Colorado RN license

Clinical Details

  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • May titrate heparin
  • Float assignment may include MS-Tele, ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and other acuity levels within the zone
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6 based on acuity
  • Nurse aides are available
  • RT equipment is available

Scheduling

  • Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance
  • 6-9 weekend shifts are expected in a 6-week schedule
  • May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
  • Rare call or standby for low census
  • Time-off requests must be submitted before the assignment starts

Floating / Assignment Expectations

  • Must float within Zone 3
  • Floating may occur throughout the full 60-mile zone
  • Assignment location may be provided 1-2 hours before shift start for JIT scheduling
  • Travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling

Orientation

  • 1-2 days with a preceptor
  • Must be in state for the week of orientation

Dress Code

  • Any color scrubs

Hiring Process

  • Candidate interview with the clinical team
  • No unit manager involvement
