Role Summary
Provides occupational therapy services under physician direction, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation of individual and group therapy activities, adaptive equipment and orthotic support, discharge planning, and possible student supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Acute and trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel experience is preferred, but not required
- Current Oklahoma license is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret physician referrals and select standardized evaluation procedures
- Evaluate patients across functional, social, psychosocial, educational, and work-related areas
- Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, frequency, and duration
- Design and fabricate adaptive equipment and orthotic devices
- Educate patients and families on goals, progress, and home therapy plans
- Assist with discharge planning and equipment ordering
- May supervise students
