• 8 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
• Acute and trauma experience

Preferred

• Travel experience preferred, but not required
• Current Oklahoma license preferred

Role Summary

• Under general supervision, performs professional occupational therapy activities, including planning, evaluating, establishing, and implementing individual and group treatment activities under physician direction
• Evaluates patients in areas such as independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills
• Develops treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, frequency, and duration of treatment
• Assists with adaptive equipment and orthotic device design and fabrication, joint protection, and body mechanics
• Supports discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans
• May supervise students
