Description

Emergency Center Registered Nurse

Location: Albany, Georgia

Assignment Details

Contract length: 17 weeks
Shift: Evenings
Shift length: 12 hours
Hours per week: 48

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Meditech

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Unit / Patient Population

Emergency department with approximately 180–200 visits per day
Patient population includes pediatrics through geriatrics
Trauma, neuro trauma, ortho, and CVA patients are seen

Work Environment

1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Charge nurse present
Nurse aides/paramedics present on shift
Security and patient sitters available
24/7 respiratory therapy support
24/7 pharmacy support
Central monitoring tech support

Additional Notes

Caribbean blue scrubs only
Driver’s license address must be included with submission
75-mile radius rule applies
Orientation must be completed during week one unless approved before start date
