Role Overview
- ICU unit with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients
- Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step down
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Onboarding / Compliance
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- Specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, skills checklist, and education attestation
- Color vision screening
- Health statement or physical exam
- MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, Tdap, TB screening, fit test, and 12-panel drug screen
- Criminal background check, EPLS, employment verification, and education verification
- Signed assignment agreement
- Confirmation of assignment
- Employment verification for the past 7 years
Additional Notes
- Influenza vaccine exemption/declination is accepted, but masking is required during flu season
