Unit Overview
- Conglomerate ICU unit with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients
- Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Onboarding / Compliance
- Signed assignment agreement
- Specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, skills checklist, and education attestation
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Epic test-out
- Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules
- Background check and EPLS screening
- Education verification
- Employment verification
- 12-panel drug screen
- Health statement
- Fit test
- MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, Tdap, and TB documentation
- Color vision screening
