CT Technologist

Job Overview

• Location: Silverdale, Washington
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 36 per week
• Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 0830-2100

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Washington license
• 2 full years of CT experience
• Ability to perform routine CT exams and trauma cases
• Radiation badge required before starting the assignment

Work Setting

• Department: Radiology - CT
• Imaging volume: 65-70 scans/studies per day across 3 scanners
• Equipment includes GE Revolution CT and GE Revolution HD scanners
• May occasionally float to X-ray for ED, inpatient, or outpatient imaging
• IV skills are helpful for outpatient work

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks; expect 25+ hours
• Department orientation is typically the first 3 days
• Shifts may include 10-hour and 12-hour days and nights
• Schedule is posted at least 2 weeks in advance
• Weekend coverage may be every weekend or every other weekend, depending on need
• Holiday work is required if the scheduled shift falls on a holiday
• Call is optional with a 45-minute response time
