Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Overview

• Cath lab RN role in a unit with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid room.
• Average volume is about 17 cases per day.
• Main responsibilities include monitoring and circulating.
• Typical patient population includes cardiac patients, acute MI, electrophysiology, and structural heart cases.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• ACLS.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.

Schedule and Call

• Combination of assigned and self-scheduled shifts.
• Weeknight call is generally 1 night per week.
• Weekend call is generally 1 weekend per 6-week schedule.
• Some holiday call is required.
• Call response time is 30 minutes.

Additional Details

• Orientation requires the clinician to be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote.
• Floating is not expected outside the unit; in an extreme need, floating may occur within Zone 3.
• Scrubs are provided.
