Overview
- Location: Mount Vernon, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 23 weeks
Job Summary
- Interventional radiology tech role in a level II cath lab with interventional cardiology
- Work includes primarily angiograms and stenting
- Call is once a week on every 4th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT
- IABP
- Impella
- Cardiac experience
- Ability to take STEMI call
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting
- Education verification
- Primary source license verification
- NURSYS verification, as applicable
- Radiation badge
- 2 clinical references
- 2 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Competency exam
- Physical exam
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Tdap documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- HealthStream modules
- Signed onboarding and professionalism documents
- Medication management acknowledgements
