Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Lanham, Maryland
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 per week
- Weekend/holiday coverage: Rotating weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Case Management (1 year of experience)
- Case Management experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived and worked in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within the past 12 months before start
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
- TB questionnaire before start
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation within 5 years
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Color vision testing within 12 months of start
- Badge photo submission
Notes
- ACLS is required only for certain units, not all RN roles.
- NIH Stroke Certification is required for most units, with listed exceptions.
- PALS, NRP, and chemotherapy certification are unit-specific and not universal requirements.
