Description

RN Case Manager with Utilization Review Experience

Job Overview

Location: Bozeman, Montana

Shift: Day shift, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Hours per week: 40
Weekend rotation: Required

Required Qualifications

Montana Registered Nurse license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 2 years of nursing experience
Utilization review experience
Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
2 years of acute care hospital experience as a case manager

Role Summary

Works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and manage plans of care
Monitors patient progress, identifies barriers to care, and supports discharge planning
Performs comprehensive assessments, ongoing care-plan monitoring, and case management outreach

Schedule Notes

Regular and sustained attendance is required
May require work beyond a standard 40-hour week
On-call work may be required

Work Environment

Busy and stressful environment
Uses computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications, and standard office equipment
May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, radiation, and emotionally challenging situations
