- 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours
- Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Assignment Details
- 28-bed unit
- Cares for orthopedic, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, Level III trauma, and medical-surgical overflow patients as census permits
- Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients
- Typical patient ratio is 1:7
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Required Certifications
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Additional Notes
- Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required
- Candidates should be comfortable with the patient ratios before submission
