MS/Tele RN Travel/Contract Job

Overview

  • Location: Rochester, New York
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Required
  • Local candidates: Not accepted; must live more than 75 miles away
  • First-time travelers: Accepted
  • Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
  • Unit notes: High-volume unit caring for patients with CHF, acute MI, post-device care, arrhythmias, and general surgery cases

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • Telemetry experience within the last year
  • 1 year of telemetry experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

  • Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
  • Facility type: Tertiary care hospital
  • Staffed beds: 528
