RN Post Acute LTC
Overview
- Location: Lewiston, Maine
- Employment type: Contract
- Shift: Days, 7a-7p
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Setting
- Post-acute long-term care role supporting residents across specialized, rehabilitation, and long-term care units.
- Care includes direct and indirect nursing support in a therapeutic environment, with responsibilities that may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment/management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of Long Term Care experience
- BLS
Skills and Work Expectations
- Medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team of care providers
- Flexibility to cover 24/7 operations
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Additional Notes
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The assignment may be canceled for up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
