Job Overview
- Contract role in Lewiston, Maine
- Night shift: 7a–7p
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience in Charge roles
- 1 year of critical care nursing experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Role Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department
- Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed
- Provide patient education
- Document nursing care, teaching, observations, and patient responses
Additional Notes
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The employer may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
