Description

Travel RN – Cardiac Catheterization

Location

Prescott, Arizona

Schedule

4 ten-hour shifts per week
Day shift
Call coverage includes about 7–10 days per month, plus 1 weekend per month
Call response time: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

Preferred: 2–3 years of experience in both IR and cath lab
Preferred: vascular and/or structural heart experience

Unit Details

Cath lab with 2 rooms and 1 recovery room
About 9–12 cases per day
Cases may include cardiac/interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures

Responsibilities

Circulate cases
Administer medications/sedation
Monitor patients during procedures
Scrub if trained to do so

Additional Information

Hospital provides scrubs for use in the cath lab
Orientation includes 1 day of hospital orientation and 2 days of department-specific orientation
