ER Travel Nurse
Overview
- Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- Setting: Busy Level 2 Trauma Center with a fast-paced 54-bed emergency department that sees about 220 patients per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
Requirements
- Local candidates not accepted
- 2-step PPD and flu vaccine required; no exemptions
Additional Notes
- NIH Stroke Certification may be completed onsite if needed
- Candidates using a compact RN license must provide proof of state residency with a driver’s license matching the compact-license state
