Position Overview: Provide high-acuity emergency nursing care in a fast-paced 54-bed Level II Trauma Center, managing adult and pediatric patients with medical, neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and traumatic emergencies while delivering timely assessment, stabilization, treatment, and monitoring.

Job duties:

1. Perform rapid emergency assessments, triage, and prioritization of adult and pediatric patients based on acuity.
2. Manage respiratory emergencies including ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, ABG interpretation, and oxygenation support.
3. Administer IV medications, vasopressors, sedation, blood products, and procedural sedation while monitoring patient response.
4. Provide emergency care for CVA, STEMI, shock, trauma, gunshot wounds, and other high-acuity conditions with continuous cardiac monitoring.
5. Initiate and maintain IV access, manage central lines, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.

Requirements:
License: Active Registered Nurse license; state-specific requirements apply
Experience: 2 years RN experience; minimum 1 year ED travel nursing experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
Other requirement: EPIC experience required
