Night Nursing Supervisor

Job Overview

• Contract nursing role in Calais, Maine
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Manager (4 years of experience)
• Manager experience within the last year
• Acute Care experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise hospital operations in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing
• Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities
• Coordinate nursing care activities in the absence of unit directors
• Provide overall management of the facility

Skills and Attributes

• Clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process
• Leadership, communication, organization, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function independently
• Ability to respond rapidly and efficiently in emergencies
