Case Manager RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in Irvine, California
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
  • 40 hours per week
  • Weekends required
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Case Management (5 years of experience)
  • Case Management experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience in a Hospital setting
  • Experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
  • 5 years of experience in the specialty
  • Epic documentation experience
  • InterQual documentation experience
  • Admission criteria assessment
  • Care coordination
  • Discharge planning
  • Utilization Review admission criteria
  • Utilization Review appeals and denials
  • Utilization Review concurrent review

Role Focus

  • Case management and utilization review for a cancer specialty hospital
  • Documentation in Epic and InterQual
  • SBAR communication
