Description

Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Call required
30-minute response time required for call
4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Holidays are worked into rotation

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
ACLS
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Level I Trauma experience
Teaching hospital experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Neuro ICU experience
Driver's License

Additional Job Details

Cath lab role with circulating responsibilities
RNs circulate; techs scrub
3 main cath lab rooms, plus 1 EP room and 1 hybrid room
10–25 cases per day
Cerner and Xper are used in the unit
Phillips equipment is used
Siemens equipment is used
Charge nurse present
No IV team
RT and pharmacy available 24/7
Scrub color is provided
Unit includes interventional, EP, peripheral, MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA-related cases
