- 12-hour day shifts
- Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- 2 years of emergency room experience
- Experience working in a high-volume, high-acuity ER
- Level II trauma experience or above
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
- Travel experience
Assignment Details
- 28-bed ER with 4 fast track beds and 2 trauma bays
- Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment
- No floating
- 2–3 shifts of unit orientation
- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 155 patients per day
- Common patient types include trauma, stroke, pediatrics, and psych
- Vents used on the unit
- Call may be required
- Holiday coverage follows the permanent staff rotation
- Navy scrubs required
- Dysrhythmia test on day one, pass/fail
- COVID vaccine required
