Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location

• Marshfield, Wisconsin

Schedule

• Day shift
• 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• May also consider 5 eight-hour shifts
• Includes rotating day off
• Weeknight and weekend call rotation
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin or compact state RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years of cath lab experience
• Must have IABP experience

Clinical Setting

• Interventional radiology/cath lab environment
• 7 rooms total across cath lab/EP and IR
• Average daily volume: 20+ cases

Key Responsibilities

• Verify orders and consent
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and patient education
• Set up rooms and circulate cases
• Administer moderate sedation and assist anesthesia providers
• Monitor hemodynamics continuously
• Document care and coordinate with the team

Patient Population / Procedures

• Port placements
• Liver biopsies
• IVC placements
• G-tube placements
• PICC and central line placements
• Neuro cases including coiling, thrombectomy, and embolization

Additional Notes

• Provided scrubs; own scrub caps allowed
• No floating required
• Initial orientation includes 2–3 full days of training/shadowing and buddy call
• Previous employees from this facility are not accepted
• Clinicians who have worked there before must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
