Description

RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

  • Prescott Valley, Arizona

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour night shifts

Unit

  • Medical-surgical telemetry / progressive care

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN role
  • BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
  • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing the contract

Responsibilities

  • Care for both MST and PCU patients
  • Precept nursing students
  • Float to the Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and Med-Surg Tele unit
  • Care for stable CPAP or BiPAP patients

Schedule

  • Every other weekend
  • Holiday rotation
  • May be placed on standby during low census

Additional Details

  • Nurse aides support the unit; if no aide is available, the RN provides primary care
  • Scrubs: any color except camouflage
