Ultrasound Tech
Location
- Longmont, Colorado
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 1 weekend shift every other weekend
- 1 12-hour call shift per week
- 1 24-hour call shift every other weekend
- Holiday call required
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- RDMS-AB via ARDMS
- RDMS-BR via ARDMS
Experience / Clinical Background
- Experience working in a hospital that covers all ages
Job Duties
- General ultrasound studies, including thyroid, abdomen, and pelvis
Work Setting
- Radiology ultrasound department
- 2 scanners/rooms
- No floating to other areas
- Radiologist available 24/7
Additional Details
- Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
- Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
- Driver’s license must be submitted
- Radius limit: 60 miles
- Professional-colored scrubs required
- No starting IVs required
