Scrub and Sterile Processing Tech
Overview
- Contract role in Brewster, Washington.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm; hours may vary based on case load, with additional hours possible.
- 40 hours per week.
Role Summary
- This assignment includes both Surgical Technologist duties and Sterile Processing Tech duties.
- The Surgical Technologist supports surgical patient care in the operating room and assists with operative procedures.
- The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical equipment and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Surgical Technologist license in Washington.
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience.
- NBSTSA certification.
- BLS certification.
- Graduation from a Surgical Technologist training program or school, or minimum one year of experience in OR scrub nursing.
- Sterile Processing Technician experience.
Preferred
- Certification as a Central Supply Technician.
