Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Specialist position located in the healthcare facility. This role involves providing surgical support in complex cardiac cases within a high-volume operating room setting. The position requires engagement in a variety of cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards. The assignment starts on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/11/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid WA state license, BLS certification, minimum 2 years of experience in operating room settings, including open heart procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical scrubbing and circulating in cardiac surgeries, familiarity with EPIC charting system, and strong knowledge of sterile techniques.
• Additional Information: The role may involve floating to related units if experienced and approved, and candidates will undergo a one-week floor-specific orientation. Scrubbing is required for all cases. The position may include on-call responsibilities with a response time of 30 minutes, covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays as per rotation. The shift hours may include varied start times, including 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts, based on contract needs.
