CT Technologist

Overview

• Contract role in Lancaster, Ohio.
• Full-time nights: 7PM-7:30AM, every 3rd weekend.
• Schedule follows a 3-week rotation:

  • Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (Radiography).
• ARRT (CT).
• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio.
• BLS.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.

Role Details

• Performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures.
• Prepares examinations for interpretation, maintains radiation safety, and helps maintain supplies.
• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon order of an approved healthcare provider.
• Provides handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Operates CT and related equipment, facility-based computer systems, and administers oral and intravenous contrast media under physician/per protocol direction.
• Transports, moves, and positions patients safely.
• Assists physicians with special procedures involving CT.
• Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities related to CT.
