L&D Charge RN
Overview
- Contract role in Family Birth Place
- Night shift: 12 hours, with rotating weekends
- Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit / Setting
- Family Birth Place
- L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum
- Couplet care
- About 80 deliveries per month
- Cares for babies 32 weeks and up
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- STABLE
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Current flu vaccine required October 1 through April 1 for all travelers, with no exemptions
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- CAPS requirement applies and may take up to two weeks to obtain
