Labor & Delivery RN
Overview
- Contract role in Sidney, Montana.
- Night shift: 18:45-07:00.
- 48 hours per week.
- 13-week contract.
Unit / Setting
- Busy obstetrics department caring for women and newborns through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Critical Access Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
- Perform triage and NSTs.
- Serve as 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.
- May float to Med/surg, CCU, or ER to assist.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS
- NRP
- STABLE
- Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
Additional Details
- EPIC EMR.
- May be placed on-call by the OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract if needed.
