Job Title: CT Tech
Facility: Karmanos Cancer Institute
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM — 40-hour guarantee
Start Date: 13/10/2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Certification and Licensure Requirements:

• Valid State License as a Radiologic Technologist
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ARRT in CT)

What you bring:

• Proven experience performing computerized axial tomography (CT) procedures on adult patients in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• Competence in venipuncture and contrast administration, with validation required within the first month of hire.
• Strong understanding of departmental protocols and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a high-functioning team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient care.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging environment, specifically with CT procedures.
• Prior experience working in a cancer treatment or research facility is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans on adult patients in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Administer contrast agents and validate venipuncture techniques within the first month of employment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols rigorously.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic images promptly.
