Weekly Taxable Pay: $2,088.05
Weekly Stipend: $1,448.73
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high-quality CT imaging services across various patient settings, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and observation units.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures such as venous and arterial phase scans, multi-phase scans, stroke imaging including perfusion studies, and colorectal studies.
• Initiate IV access (peripheral IVs) and administer contrast agents as needed for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Support the department during invasive procedures guided by CT, coordinating with radiologists and other medical staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation within EMR (EPIC), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite).
• Assist with patient care and guest services, including transport for inpatient and observation patients.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• A minimum of 2 years of technologist experience in a busy radiology department performing advanced CT procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase protocols, and stroke imaging, including perfusion imaging.
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and managing contrast administration.
• Knowledge of CT equipment, including Siemens and Bayer/Medrad power injectors, and familiarity with TeraRecon software is preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and provide excellent patient care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Verification of ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT advanced registry.
• Additional experience in cardiac CT imaging and interventional radiology is advantageous.
• Prior experience working with EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS is a plus.

• The facility is TJC Stroke accredited and performs cardiac CT imaging daily, 7 days a week.
• Department onboarding includes a one-day administrative process, followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed.
