The Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Infusion/Oncology is responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient infusion setting. This role involves administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV treatments while monitoring patient responses and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments
Perform and manage IV therapy, PICC lines, ports, and central lines
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and oncologic emergencies (e.g., anaphylaxis, sepsis, tumor lysis syndrome)
Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and side effects
Manage infusion pumps and medication administration
Perform phlebotomy and lab value monitoring
Ensure proper documentation in EPIC system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Outpatient Oncology preferred)
Strong experience in:
IV Infusion Therapy & Chemotherapy administration
Central line & port management
Symptom management (nausea, neuropathy, fatigue, etc.)
Experience with EPIC charting system (Required)
Certifications & Licensure:
Active California RN License (required at submission)
BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
ONS/ONCC Certification (Required)
OCN Certification (Preferred)

Outpatient Infusion Center
Oncology-focused patient care
Adult & Geriatric population
